We had a good area to place the water softener and the plumbing installation was fairly straight forward.
The commissioning however was not so straight forward with the supplied instructions.
The electrical connector point on the unit took about 15 mins to find, and when it was found I had to remove the top cover and then detach the display panel to get to it. None of this was explained in the instructions. Accessing the User Menu was also problematic with the fuzzy instructions and took several minutes of trail and error. When this was finally accessed and going through the setup, the machine suddenly decided to do a regen halfway through. I managed to stop that after a while and continued with the rest of the setup.
Likewise trying to do the manual regen, the instructions aren't clear how to achieve this and is missing the step of pressing both the "tick" and "back arrow" at the same time ! It was only by looking at the display panel I realised how to do it.
It would be useful if there was a max fill line in the tank !
Other than that, everything else went smoothly and we started getting soft water nearly straight away.
